The host communicated with us the day before arrival, to say that check in would not be available until 8pm! The agreed to check in time was 3pm. This is unacceptable. The host offered a late checkout in exchange, which we did not accept because we were leaving early anyway! Caused disruption to our plans. Very unprofessional.
GBAir conditioning in the bedroom helped us sleep at night. It was too hot outside.
The process of handing the keys over. Check in was between 3 and 4pm and we had a call from the host asking for us to wait until 8pm because the cleaning services could only finish by then. We were already travelling to get there by 3.30pm and we stopped somewhere else to kill some time. Of course we arrived earlier than 8 and we had to chase the cleaning services to give us the key. We feel that the situation was badly handled. The apartment is on the second floor. People with serious mobility issues wouldn’t be able to get to it because it doesn’t have a lift. Kitchen lacks utensils. Bedroom lacks pillows and bathroom lacks storage.
