Apartamento Romantico by the Ocean

The owner, Mr. Vlad, was very kind and helpful; the apparment was clean and very well equipped; travelling to Funchal was easy on local bus; there were enough services (shops, cafes, restaurants, bakery) near the appartment

Ocean view. Sun from morning till evening on the Terrace. Very quiet and private.

Parking situation was a bit tricky.

Amazing view - great host (Vlad is really nice) - everything you need is just around the corner (small grocery stores, car rental, restaurants, ... )

Vlad's apartment was great. It has an amazing view that you just fall in love with. The location is perfect, like 20 minutes from Funchal so all the tours for the levadas or around Madeira can easily pick you up from this area as well, so you don't have to go to Funchal to join them. Also, right next to the building, there is a great restaurant with really good food and the owner is really nice. Vlad gave me all the information that I needed for my stay, lots of flyers for tours and secured free transfer for me to and from the airport. Also, the apartment was equiped with everything I needed, so that made the stay a really pleasant one.

The apartment is located at the top of a 13th floor building, with a large terrace on two sides, and is very well equipped, though furnished in a strange old-fashioned style. The location is excellent, close to a very pleasant promenade along the sea shore and next to a fantastic restaurant, A Traineira. Vlad was very helpful in all aspects. Also, he both collected us from the airport and brought us back there.

My only complaint would be that the sofas are really not comfortable to sit on. In my view they are up for a change.

The great view over Canico and the ocean ! All equipment is perfect in this nice appartement.

Amazing view, jacuzzi on the balcony was unreal. Area felt super safe. Vlad was a very kind and helpful host. Bus nearby which takes you directly to the capital Funchal.
