Location was great, 5 minutes from the beach and some great restaurants, but still away from the crowds Loved putting the cafe set out in the alley every morning for breakfast A sun shade was provided for use on the beach which was a great little extra We saw the house keeper every morning, always friendly, and happy to stop for a chat

The location to the beach and all the 'action' was wonderful, close but far enough away that it was peaceful and quiet once back in our room. Very centrally located. There were several grocery stores near by. We used the pool area to relax. We requested an early arrival and it just so happened that the house cleaner was at our door when we arrived!

It was difficult to find. We spoke to the owner and told her and she said that she has tried different ways to describe how to get there. I would say, "go to the Museu Municipal de Arqueologia de Albufeira on Praca Da Republica. Facing the museum, walk along the right side, overlooking the beach. The side street will be the 2nd on your left. Take that to #16 and look for the swallows on the wall above the door." Trying to find our street and asking when we got near it did not get us there. WE kind of stumbled on it and using GPS we finally found it.

This place was a little gem. The apartment was perfect with all you could need: a kettle toaster, a cooker, hairdryer and iron. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. Located just 5 minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants, there was also a pool, accessible through a door on the next street, it was small but sufficient. Extra touches were beach towels, beach bags, and sun hat. There was also a bottle of wine, 2 bottles of beer and water in the apartment when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again.

There were steps leading to the apartment, so probably not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties

Putting loo tissues in a bucket that wasn’t emptied - guests expected to do it Shower was tepid - no really hot water. Had to boil kettle to shave and wash despite running it for agrs

Loved the apartment and amenities, super location in the old town close to the buzzing area without the noise. Beach is literally 300m walk. The garden and pool are a great alternative escape from beach. Great support from the owners and easy check-in
