Casa do Joaquim da Praia

Very nice rental but there was a huge issue that I request we be compensated for (full refund). This is a great shame given the rest of the apartment was nice.

There were blackout curtains to ensure privacy and no light would come through every window except the one next to the bed. There was also a street light just outside this window. My husband did not sleep that night because the whole apartment and especially the bed were flooded with light. There is very little that is essential with a rental but proper curtains to shield the light to allow one to sleep is on par with having an actual bed in the lodging. I request to be contacted to discuss refunding the expenses.

Nice little studio. Everything is there. Comfortable bed. Greeted personally and shown the place by our friendly host. Always easy to park in the street nearby. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Good location . Right near the market and a very short walk to the beach and the ocean promenade. We were so comfortable & liked Nazaré so much we asked to stay a second night! A great spot to use as home base.

It is small... and there's no closet or clothes storage area. So it is hard to keep the living space empty. The little pool looked lovely but I could imagine it being noisy if anyone else there was using it..I think we were alone there though.

Excellent location, huge and spacious, clean, nice pool and large veranda for relaxing in the sun.

Good location, near to the beach, shops nearby, pool (didn't use it because of low season but it was full and open). Very cozy reading lights near the bed.

the apartment is modern, a great location, markets, shops all close by, had everything we needed.

There was nothing we didn't like

The apartment is beautiful. Very clean and modern. We had the place to ourselves including the pool area which was so nice for us to relax by when we weren’t out and about. Air con which was great. It’s centrally located to everything. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Nelson, our host was so friendly and accomodating. I would 100% come back to stay here.

The wifi isn’t great. You basically have to be outside for it to work.

Really nice and helpful personnel, great apartment and location. The swimming pool is a good addition since kids have it difficult to swim in the ocean. A big plus is the private parking of the apartment, since Nazare has a huge parking and traffic problem.

The apartment was beautiful, the pool was fantastic and all very close to town centre.
