LovelyStay - Full Sky in Chiado

The location, view, and layout of the apartment were all great. It was stunning at sunset and the staff were very responsive. I would loved to have given it 10/10 if it were not for the elevators.

The elevators are very old and if someone on a different floor forgets to close the door all the way you can get trapped. I spent 35 minutes trapped in the elevator between floors.

The view from the apartment was spectacular and definitely the highlight of my stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Chiado, which made exploring the area very convenient.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment was lacking. There were noticeable marks on the tables, and the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time. It felt like the apartment had been cleaned hastily, without attention to detail. If you depend on a strong Wi-Fi connection, this apartment might not be the best choice. The download speed was capped at 5 Mb/s, and the upload speed was 0.5 Mb/s. As a remote worker, this was a significant issue. We had to book a co-working space to get our work done because the Wi-Fi was insufficient. The host offered a LAN cable as a solution, which wasn't helpful since our MacBook didn't have a LAN port.

The views are what the pictures show, it is incredible. Bed was comfortable and the place was spacious.

I was very sick after arriving from my flight and the staff did not show any accommodating traits until last minute when they were able to let us in at 2pm instead of 3pm. There is no where to store luggage and they do not do early check ins or late check outs and this is quite inconvenient. When you sit on the toilet, your knees hit the shower wall (so you cannot properly sit on the toilet) and the shower stall is a weird shape and not the most comfortable.

Really stunning view and great location

The apartment didn’t feel very clean, especially the bathroom and the carpet. Pots and pans didn’t look clean either. One toilet roll and 2 towels each for a 4 night stay was also less than ideal given the price. Coffee machine without even one coffee pod or a teabag which is just a little disappointing. The view really saved it
