B14 - Heart of Old Town Apartment

Great apartment, very clean, excellent location.

The location is good. Nice view outside the window. Staff was responsive that was able to fix the reported problem during our stay. The shower water was hot enough

1. The property is quite old and was filled with a weird smell, had to have the windows open all the time whilst in the house. 2. The facilities provided were not quite pleasant. - There is espresso coffee machine - but no coffee/coffee capsule; - there is a washing machine - but no laundry detergent; - the water-flow from shower head is a little weak; - the water coming out of the shower is yellowish colour (not sure why); - there are no duvets, only thick sheets. We had to dig out 3 more layers of sheets from the wardrobe to sleep at night. Understanding Lagos can get hot, but as tourists visiting in this colder months, we do need duvets to sleep at night. - there is no hair dryer, which is super inconvenient for people with long/thick hair. 3. The property is upstairs of a hot dog shop/wine shop surrounded by bars that opens until 2am. So there are a lot of noises from downstairs. 4. The property had very short check in timeframe and relatively early checkout time (10am) , and charge you extra if you need to check in outside the three hours checking timeframe.

Gut gelegen, komfortabel und sauber.

Everything was alright/ok apart from the noise.

It was extremely (!) noisy at night, there is a bar right underneath and the noise only stops at 2 am. Unfortunately due to the noise we didn't get a good night's sleep, in spite of wearing earplugs.

Not clean, flying and runing insects in all rooms/kitchen/beds and sticky kitchen/furniture surfaces too. Very old-broken furniture/bathroom, no gel for shower etc... Pics didn't match reality, it seems they are very good at using "photoshop". Worst terrible experience at all our bookings ever.
