A13 - Channel Street Central Apartment

The accommodation's location is great, just off a pedestrian street with plenty of cafés, shops and restaurants in the heart of Lagos. It is a good sized flat with a small balcony, it has a kitchen area, bedroom and good sized bathroom. The towels and bedding provided were clean. There is sufficient storage for belongings for a shorter stay. I wouldn't mention anything negative if the accommodation was offered at a lower price.

The place is a bit old and has outdated furniture, fixtures and appliances. We had to go to a separate location to collect the keys and the instructions to which door leads to our accommodation were not entirely clear as the doors within the building are not marked with numbers. There was breakfast included in the booking price, but it wasn't too diverse and we only received instant coffee and two teabags for breakfast drinks. A proper coffee machine with some pods or ground coffee would definitely increase the comfort levels, along with a kettle. The bed was uncomfortable with tiny pillows and it affected our sleep. It looks like this accommodation belongs to a bigger company managing many of these and it seems like they didn't invest too much into improving this place. I feel like for the price we paid, more effort could be put into the guests' convenience.
