Not much natural light got into apartment

The house was spot clean.the owner takes in consideration every detail. she had for us cheese jam,yogurts,fruits and home made bread cookies and an excellent wine. The house is cozy and the town is so charm

A really nice, fresh and clean apartment - with aircon (was very hot when we were here). Hosts are quick to respond and left a lovely gift of fresh bread, cheese, wine, biscuits and fruit for us :)

It’s cosy, the reception is welcoming and super friendly.

The only little detail I can mention here is the ventilation : when it is cold and we sleep the whole night with closed doors/windows, there is a need for fresh air after a few hours.

This was one of the most amazing stays of our 3 week trip through Portugal. We've stayed in many places during our trip, so we had something to compare it to. I was impressed by the comfort, location, special coziness, which may not be visible in the photos. And we were even more impressed by the extremely hospitable reception, during which we received a gift bottle of wine, cheese, and homemade bread. We felt like coming home and really regretted that we only planned to stay at Peha Garcia for one day. The famous places, atmospheric streets and surroundings of this town are very beautiful. The nearby Monsanto is a must visit as well.

Our stay was exceptional. We booked the property based on its proximity to Monsanto but were very pleasantly surprised to find that there was a trail directly from the casa to a castle and fossils, just a few minutes walk away. We were greeted with fresh bread, fruits, water, wine, and cheese (and air conditioning!) which was wonderful after a long drive. Our dog was warmly greeted and a food/water bowl was provided. This property was by far the most overall luxurious rental that we’ve stayed in Portugal (after stays throughout the country over the past 6 months). I would put it in the Airbnb Luxe category. Plush towels, massive walk-in shower, high end finishes, high-end appliances (including a washing machine with complimentary quality detergent for use), plush towels, quality dinnerware and cooking supplies, spices and olive oil there were high quality (not just random things that other people likely had just left behind), a generous amount of coffee pods and tea, an assortment of games and books, and quality furniture. There was a high attention to detail throughout and the casa was spotless. Great communication, friendliness, and a desire to go above and beyond to be helpful and make us feel at home.

very cosy and attention to detail. everything was there, even bread, cheese and a bottle of red wine. The host is caring and friendly. We have been in 5 places now but this one tops it. Everything was just great. Congratulations to Sandra for the top location and service with a heart!!! keep it up!!!!

A bright small house with everything we need and more. Is a old house outside but inside is so well decorated that we feel the sun inside. And after that surprise we realize that we have a big welcome gift - fruit, handmade bread, cheese, wine, yogurts, juices, butter,... - all for free. All the village people were so friendly and caring.

Since we had a old woman with us the only thing that is was not so good was the irregular street surface. That is something outside of the house and maybe outside of the owner's responsibility. In the end we did adapted
