Location was good - very close to the beach. There are lots of mini supermarkets, restaurants, and bars nearby. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated.

You can only have one major appliance on at a given time or the fuse will go out. Luckily, the host was very responsive but this would have been good to know beforehand. There is technically street parking available but the spots are hard to come by. The closest free parking lot was a 5 minute walk away.

A nice clean comfortable flat in the center of Old Town. Everything is just a short walk from there.

I would not say it was the property but I wish the weather was slightly warmer so that we could take advantage of the small yet beautiful terrace.

It is extremely noisy outside of the apartment and the noise continues until late at night. Very bright inside even with closed curtains at night, because shops downstairs have lights on (and owners not putting light blocking curtains in the living room despite apparent multiple complaints in reviews). Beds are flimsy and very uncomfortable, we got back ache after sleeping on them. Electricity goes out if you turn on two or more power devices, e.g. A/C and washing machine or dishwasher. There is no noise insulation from neighbors, so you'll hear loud parties and screams all night. The towels are very dated, and we had to purchase our own, as the ones provided were very unpleasant looking.

At the heart of Albufeira where the action was. Had we not stayed there we would never have experienced the surroundings, entertainment, beach, superb restaurants . Our stay was 3 nights totally relaxed after 10 days of intense touring and seeing culture, palaces, churches and history of Portugal. Free parking slot was about 7 min walking. A well appointed apartment with all amenities. Super market close by.
