Studio noise isolation, bathroom/water noise from the upstair

The hosts were flexible and welcomed us before our initially designated time, so we could 'get rid' of our luggages and go for a walk until the studio was prepared. The entry using our phones went very smoothly.

The studio could be better isolated, as it did occur that we woke up during the night to people in the corridors (however, we understand that the schedule of other tenants is not something the hosts can control). Apart from this, we had one evening where the buzz of the door was going for multiple hours. Thankfully the issue was solved before late evening (as the host got back this with a call after we tried to reach out a couple of times) and we could enjoy a peaceful (buzzless night of sleep). However, the buzz of the door not only meant a disturbing noise for a relatively long time, but also that the front door (the studio has a separate door too) was open for this same time.

The location was unbeatable. Lovely area and walking distance from public transport. The apartment had two double beds which is rare and was perfect for two friends (one in a “loft” so not super accessible- but doable)

They have a problem with humidity which they are clearly trying to solve but still, things were a bit humid and there was some mold in the bathroom.

There is water damage and a strong mould smell. We didn’t notice initially as cleaner had just finished when we checked in so all you could smell was cleaning products, there was also mould dust on bowls in the pantry. When we raised the issue we were told the problem had been rectified, we asked to see certification that there was no mould present & they were unable to do so. We left after 1 night as we were concerned for our health due to the smell & inhalation of mould. We requested a refund for h the remaining nights which was refused. Very disappointed

The accommodation is really not far from the lively part of the city and other facilities. When we checked in, the studio was clean and ready for us. It was a great accommodation for a few days, even if it was a little bit small for 4 people.

Unfortunately, some water was leaking when someone would take his/her bath and would take some time to dry out.
