The location was central and had good public transport links. The flat itself was very clean and nicely decorated. It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Joao was very friendly and gave good tips on places to visit. All in all a great location to explore the city.

It's in the bairro alto area with lots of bars and restaurants. It can get noisy outside but you don't hear anything from the bedrooms since the glass doors are very insulating.

Joao, the host, kept in touch with us before our visit, and facilitated a slightly earlier check in. Our flight was delayed but he waited at the apartment until we arrived, to show us around and give us the keys. He was very helpful in giving recommendations for local restaurants, shops etc and was quick to respond to any questions during our stay. The apartment was fabulous, and the location was excellent for exploring the old (and very hilly!) part of the city. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms quiet even when there was some noise in the street below. We would definitely return😊

A very minor thing and not the fault of the owner at all, but the balcony was really a French balcony and not big enough to sit and have coffee on. You could stand out and enjoy the view of the street and distant river views though. Also a shelf above the bathroom sink for make up and toiletries is the only thing I can think of.
