Maria Saudade - Bright & Spacious Apartment with Views in the Heart of Sintra

Localización inmejorable, en el centro de Sintra. Aunque no pudimos entrar antes de tiempo pudimos dejar la maletas sin problemas, al lado hay una tienda donde haces el check-in y puedes dejar la maletas sin problemas tanto a la entra da como a la salida. Unicamente al entrar olia un poquito a humedad, pero es entendible en una vivienda tan antigua y la época del año (febrero) También estaba un poco fría la casa pero nada que no pudiéramos arreglar encendiendo los radiadores. Todo muy limpio.

Très grand logement avec 2 salles de bain. Situé en plein centre et proche de tout. Très propre.

Bruit au matin car il y avait des travaux mais les locataires ne peuvent rien y faire. Si vous venez en voiture, c'est compliqué de se garer, même avec les adresses données pour se garer. La circulation est compliquée mais les agents de police sont super compréhensif.

因為我們是冬天來的，冬天的辛特拉似乎比較潮濕，有幾間房間牆壁都有水氣，夏天可能比較沒這個問題

Style, location, light, view. So many nice touches.

This is easily my favorite place to stay in Sintra's historic town center. It is conveniently located next to a variety of shops and restaurants, and both the Sintra National Palace and Quinta da Regaleira are within an easy walking distance. The apartments themselves are lovely, with views from every room, comfortable beds, and two full bathrooms (shower, sink, toilet). I appreciate the small refrigerator and tea / coffee making equipment in the kitchenette, and the free wifi if definitely a plus. Picking up the keys for the apartment is easy; you simply stop by Marie Saudade shop, which is next door to the apartment and pick them up from the clerk at the desk. I've stayed here six or seven times now, and I have never been disappointed. In fact, this is the first place I book as soon as I know that I'm bringing a group of friends to experience Portugal with me.

The only down side to these apartments is that they can be a little challenging to get to, particularly if members of your party brought lots of luggage. There is no longer any public parking on the street above the apartment, which means if you have a rental car, you must leave it at one of the car parks outside of the historic town center and either walk or get a taxi / bolt ride to the National Palace, and then walk up the hill to reach the apartment. For those coming to Sintra by public transportation, this would, of course, not be an issue because it would already be part of your plan.

Good location in Sintra, close to many restaurants and shops. Two of the three bedrooms were large and attractive. Parking (although you have to pay for it) was available nearby.

We were in Sintra in mid-March and it was cold and damp. There was no heat in the kitchen or the living room. The heaters in the bedrooms took forever to warm up the rooms ((I’m talking over 24 hours) and the larger bedrooms stayed chilly. Also, the third bedroom was very small with no furniture and barely room to walk between your suitcases and the bed. Not really suitable for an adult couple.
