The apartment has a huge terrace with amazing views over Coimbra, and which was also very good for our dogs. Francisco was also very friendly and gave us good tips about Coimbra, where to eat, and what to visit. There is free parking in the same building. The location is also excellent, just a few minutes away from the old town, and with many supermarkets nearby.

We stayed in this apartment for 7 nights. There were many factors we considered when we chose an apartment, but the two most important ones were heating and hot water because we travelled during winter. We were glad that both important needs were fulfilled. The AC in the living room and the heater in the bedroom were enough to keep us warm and comfortable. There were also heated bars in the toilet. I believed the house by itself already had good heat insulation. The hot water had a little bit of a cycle, meaning that it could turn less hot during a shower but it was only for about 5 seconds and it was only less hot but not cold. The furnishing of the apartment was simple but practical. The gas stove had matches but we preferred a lighter so we went to buy one on our own. Francisco did the check-in with us and he shared with us much information about the surrounding amenities and attractions. We met Antonio during our check-out and he was very kind to allow us to leave our luggage after check-out so that we did not need to drag three heavy suitcases with us for lunch. We were glad that we got the chance to meet both Francisco and Antonio who were great hosts.

It would be great if the gas stove came with a lighter. The dustbin in the toilet was rusty and probably needed a change. We found walking through the narrow and quiet alleys surrounding the building a little uncomfortable at night but that had nothing to do with the apartment. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

The apartment is clean and well equipped. The WiFi is strong. The TV provide a wide ranges of channels.

The terrace and the location.

Excellent location - walkable to everything. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS from the balcony of the river and the city. Francisco was very helpful as he checked us in.

Unfortunately, the living area smells like smoke. :(

We were met at the entrance, with the keys. I was asked to let them know when we are 30 mins away. Upon meeting in the apartment, they escorted us to our car (parked a block away) and walked us to the correct (free!) underground parking spot.

Nothing - we could not get the freezer to work. I let the host know and they promptly agreed to get it checked out.

Location is great, 5-minute-walk from the centre. Parking spot included with the appartment. Nice sunny terrace with views to the city and washing machine available. Everything was perfectly clean.
