Carcavelos Apartment

L appartement est très bien équipé et à quelques pas de la plage et de restaurants bien au top comme le Maruto (conseillé parmi d autres par Leandro). Vous avez de la place pour vous garer moyennant 1 euros pour 1h (non payant de 20h à 9h) dans un quartier très calme. Leandro est très rassurant et agréable. Il explique parfaitement les détails. Les lits sont confortables, tout est prévu pour que vous soyez à l aise.

La communication avec Sofia nous a un peu desarconné et nous avions une communication qui faisait l effet d un robot avec des messages automatiques. Il a été compliqué de les joindre par téléphone pour avoir de plus amples informations car notre demande de pièces d identité ne fonctionnait pas par le lien envoyé. Suite à une vérification par Leandro, il a effectivement remarqué qu il y avait un problème.

pleasantly airy and spacious apartment, with almost all you might need, relatively quiet, friendly neighbour from the ground-floor apartment, great proximity to all we needed (smaller Pingo Doce at NOVA SBE just a few steps from the house, larger Shopping centre in Alto da Barra cca 700m away (bookshop, newsstand, pharmacy..etc.), and of course the beaches..very well equipped kitchen with a little exception - the mugs and bowls were definitely not matching the number of tenants - just 2pieces of each...dtto cutleru..BUT all was doable..very friendly Leandro who met us at the check-in and was ready to help throughout our stay (we didn´t need anything), a two-week stay includes cleaning service (we didn´t use - so I consider that a useless extra cost, but again, some other guests might appreciate this, I´d prefer this as an extra optional service)...

We are quite experienced travellers through booking/airbnb and long term lanlords ourselves but I really did not enjoy the communication with Sofia (sorry), it was in fact mostly about default automatic replies, often very lenghty and off topic as they vere repetitive. I believe it is for some language barrier or just to simplify the job for the landlady..but I definitely prefer more relevant/customized reactions. Before I understood that she is not really reacting to my questions/information but just resending a ready-made reply I felt very confused and even consideren cancelling the booking as it all felt weird. As Sofia is offer a really wonderful apartment this feels a pity. From the moment she delegated the communication to Leandro all was super smooth. The default messages included a lot of warnings/obligations/extra costs/promotion of other services....and it was too much. Would prefer more trust, simplicity and even transparency.

Very nice and spacious apartment

Great location for Lisbon beaches and easy to get into the city. Secure parking was an additional cost, as mentioned in the original post, but was value for money.

More information before booking would be helpful, I.e. first floor apartment with excellent views over the neighbouring park, which leads to an underpass for the beaches. We drove from Spain... €€€€€€ on tolls

The location of the apartment is very good. Also, the size and the facilities. The apartment is nicely decorated.

The paint from the walls needs to be refreshed . I was unpleasantly surprised by the fact that the owner was present online, but she sent someone who speaks only Portuguese, which made everything difficult. After requesting an invoice since before my arrival, the document was provided with delay and inaccurate.

Spacious, clean and had everything that was required for a comfortable stay.

Being extremely picky, the shower head could do with being replaced in the en suite. However that’s only because I like to always have a “didn’t like” opinion.

The apartment was quite large and very clean There was a washer and dryer, which was helpful on a long trip. The bedrooms had air conditioning as well.
