Algarve Sweet Home - Marina Front

The apartment was clean, in a great location and had everything we needed. It's spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. There's a small supermarket nearby and lots of restaurants at the marina at the front. Hélder was lovely and gave us some recommendations for the area. We came in December so it was lovely and quiet, the weather was still lovely and the balcony got sun for the whole day. The bed was very comfortable and with the bedroom shutter down the room is pitch black which really helped us sleep well. It takes around 20-30 minutes to walk to The Old Town where most of the restaurants/shops are and we enjoyed this walk, stopping to enjoy the views and cats that like to sunbathe on the way. There's a gorgeous walk to a view point "Ponta de baleeira" that we visited a few times. Would highly recommend staying here.

I'm glad I knew in advance from other reviews that there's noise from the bars/restaurants below (including music from around 9am-9pm) but it wasn't too bad. You can see people on the marina front from the balcony but being by the pool isn't visible from below. If you're going in winter a lot of restaurants will be closed or have reduced hours (contrary to what shows on google), however we didn't struggle to find nice places to eat.

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment located at the front of the Marina with amazing views. All amenities were great for my week’s stay and couldn’t think of anything else I would have needed. Hélder was fantastic from start to finish in ensuring I had a comfortable, safe stay as a solo traveller. Restaurants and shops are a 2 minutes walk and you can walk to the old town in 15 mins or take a taxi which is a few mins drive. Would definitely recommend and will be returning next year😊

The sizeable fully equiped apartment was excellent. The terrace provided a superb view of the marina and its boat ride movements and the entertainment from tourists/restaurant workers below. Food, drink and attractions are on the doorstep. The secure underground parking is a convenient bonus.

The swimming pool water needed some regular cleaning of debris, eg. paper, clothing' labels, insects.

The apartment was lovely and the pool was a good size. The location was great, right nrxt to the marina and all the restaurants and bars, but it was quiet enough later at night

would of been better if we had a change of linen and a cleaner for one day during our 9 night stay

Lovely apartment in a beautiful location, well equipped kitchen/laundry facilities, good aircon. Sofa bed is different and better than pictures, it's basically a double bed so perfect for our 12+15yr olds. Good WiFi and TV channels. Bedroom and living area bigger than expected. If it's available for your dates, book it, you will not be disappointed. Hèlder greets you on arrival and provides all information needed and is fully contactable during your stay, he is a gentleman.

Anyone who finds fault or dislike here is way too fussy.
