Downtown Poet´s Apartment

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and airy. It had everything that you would need. It was very central and safe. The beds were very comfortable and the host Margarida was very attentive texting us several times to make sure that we were ok. There are loads of little restaurants and Tapas bars around. We would recommend "a dos pinto" "8 Tapas" and the 3HB hotel for dinner. The pharmacy around the corner was very helpful when we had to find medical attention. We made day trips to Tavira and Olhao which were really nice. Train is very cheap and runs often.

We had to go to 3 clinics before anyone could help us. Each clinic told us they could not help us and sent us to the next. We were told the hospital would have long waiting times and we were going home the next day. If there is an emergency for you then the Clinica Lusiadas Faro is actually near the apartment - it is private and you will have to claim back off the insurance but we got quick and excellent treatment there.

A gorgeous little apartment within walking distance of the old town. The place was spotless and very comfortable and the towels were so soft and fluffy! We were only there 2 nights and ate out but there was a great kitchen if you wanted to cook for yourself.

The sliding doors to the balcony from the lounge do not lock.

I contacted apartment a few weeks before arriving to see if we could have early check in as we had a morning flight and this was very kindly agreed, which meant we dumped our bags and headed out shortly after 12 which was brilliant. We were staying for 4 nights. Apartment is lovely, the pictures don't do it justice, it's huge and it has everything you need. Location wise, it was perfect. It is on 2nd floor but there is a lift. Everything is in walking distance including a huge supermarket. There are lots of great restaurants in area, we didn't have a bad meal at all. The host (forgot her name) contacted us during the stay to check we were okay and if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again and can't recommend it enough.

Only slight gripe there was no air conditioning but there are fans in each bedroom. Wouldn't stop us staying again though

Apartment was very central , clean and spacious. Fantastic. Would stay again 100%.

Can be bit noisy from people outside but didn't bother us at all.
