FLH São Jorge Castle Flat

The location was great! The views were lovely.

The instructions said we could not open the windows/ doors for our safety but that was the whole reason we booked this place- for the views! Plus it was so hot and with no aircon it was too hot to have the windows closed! Cleanliness was not good- mould in shower. Hair on floor. Towel dirty. Chimney crumbling. The whole place was a bit run down and tatty. Could tell it would have been nice once but not been taken care of. Bin instructions NOT clear and did not feel comfortable putting in street bins as they suggest because they did not specify where that is. When I asked for help, they could not give me the location of the bins which is frustrating when they insist you cannot leave your rubbish in the apartment.

L'appartamento è molto bello e spazioso.

È presente solo un piccolo ventilatore di potenza scarsa, che sicuramente per le giornate estive tipiche di Lisbona è generalmente sufficiente, ma purtroppo siamo capitati in due giorni che hanno toccato 40 e 41 gradi e l'host in nessun modo ci è venuto incontro fornendoci una soluzione più rinfrescante nonostante l'esplicita richiesta. La camera da letto è un sottotetto e non è stato possibile dormire serenamente. Il bagno inoltre è nella camera da letto, senza una vera separazione (no muro, no porta) quindi se non si è una coppia con grande confidenza bisogna chiedere agli altri ospiti di scendere nel soggiorno per espletare i propri bisogni, cosa non comodissima magari di notte! Non è fornito nulla in cucina, né caffè né acqua né olio o sale.

Oven didn’t work

Location cannot be better, it's actually inside Castelo, peacocks walking by your sid (singing cheerfully 😄), overwhelming view. Of course, you should be fit enough to climb hills as everywhere in Lissabon. The apartment is really spacious and authentic with touch of individual style (emotional and unordinary)

Toilet😭😂 Normally, people need more privacy. Please, make it more isolated, the place IS worth it❤️

Localisation is great if you don’t travel by car and have light luggage (otherwise mind pretty long walk and stairs). The apartment itself is cosy and provides beautiful views.

No seperate bathroom and toilet; it’s a part of the bedroom so higly uncomfotable if you travel with someone. There was no tea or coffee in the kitchen so bring your own if you arríve late and want drink smth warm

The location was great

There were several maintenance and cleaning issues. We didn’t want people working on things all week, so we reported some of them after we left. The people they did send didn’t speak any English and didn’t understand what we were saying.
