La relación de precio y calidad, comparando con otras habitaciones o servicios de la zona, era muy acorde y buena para lo que estaba buscando, fui por trabajo y realmente lo que quería era algo accesible, cómodo y poder descansar y organizarme y eso lo cumplió correctamente

I rented this property from November 7th to November 11th. However, I had to leave the property the very same evening due to the unacceptable conditions of the apartment. After checking in independently, we left the place after just 10 minutes because of the absence of basic essentials such as towels, shower gel, and shampoo. When we returned, we decided to unpack our luggage and settle in, but as we looked around, we realized the conditions were truly UNACCEPTABLE. The amount of dust made the air unbreathable; dirt stains that had clearly been there for a long time covered the sofa, making it impossible to sit on it without fearing we might catch something. The bedsheets were stained with some reddish mark of unknown origin, and the worst part was the toilet — filthy and encrusted with urine. Even worse, one of the small windows had to remain tightly closed at all times because, being in a basement with three garbage bins just outside, there was an almost certain chance of animals such as mice or cockroaches entering. This meant we had to stay completely shut inside, with no fresh air at all. We contacted Booking and tried several times to call and message the property, without EVER receiving a reply. I am now attaching all the photos. The property refused to accept a free cancellation, despite the fact that I did not use the accommodation at all. I lost €315 hard-earned money from my family’s work and what was supposed to be a pleasant stay turned into a nightmare experience.

Set in the heart of the Alfama this is a brilliant value simple, property and we were pleased to book to return having stayed here two years’ ago. I really don’t understand the harsh reviews for us it is ideal, authentic and walkable to so much. Having the fridge and little kitchen super useful. There is a terrific lift up to the higher level of the old town just a few steps away and a super non-touristy restaurant just opposite. If you want lots of luxury and creature comforts sure there are other places to try.

During our last trip we’d realised that because it is in a pedestrian area cabs will drop you off some way away, but it is straightforward to call a cab from a road and worth dropping a pin there. The shower needs to run for a while then it is perfectly hot. I always wear earplugs anyway but you may find useful if lively people pass by late at night/early morning. Make sure you put the aircon extractor tube out of the window.

Понравилось расположение, квартал. В апартаментах было все необходимое для жизни, матрас удобный, белье постельное и полотенца чистые, wi-fi работал.

Шум по вечерам из-за уборки мусора, шумно работал душ: свистел, гудел. На кухне нет горячей воды. Кран не подключен к горячей воде. Высокая влажность в квартире, пол все время покрывался влагой и был скользким.

lack of communication, room wasn’t clean on arrival, whoever manages the property is very rude
