We liked the location of the place.

We arrived at 10:30 am and asked the owner if we could at least park a car. He informed us that check -in is at 3 pm, which we knew. We had to park a car in a paid parking lot nearby. We had the tickets to the castles purchased in advance or another way you can NOT get to see anything Because the lines to the castles were extremely slow and long, without any air-conditioning inside, we arrived back at the place around 6 pm and prior we informed the owner about our arrival time and we still had to wait for him for about 15 minutes., The owner had a very nice, charming personality and told us where a good place is to eat. He was not sure if he could have an available parking space for us. Luckily, we found one a block away. The next morning our car was blocked by another car due to the marketplace nearby. We had to wait for the driver to move his car before we could leave. Our apartment was on the third floor with the tilted ceilings above all our beds in each room and the tilted ceiling above the toilet in the bathroom. We had to watch out not to bump our heads. There is a big cell tower on the roof of the house next door and the train tracks right behind the house. The owner told us to close the windows to eliminate the noise from the passing trains at night, but we could still hear the noise. We spent a couple of weeks in Portugal, but Sintra was the only place with not so nice experience. Thank you.
