Terrace - Green Essence Apartment

The apartment was nice--once we found it and were able to get inside. The washing machine is a washer/dryer in one.

Google Maps led us to a nearby street, but we had no directions from the host on how to get to the apt. Thankfully, a few nice locals helped us. Once we found the apt., it took us a while to get ahold of the host so we could access the apt. There had been no prior arrangements and all communication between us and the host was delayed. This was all very frustrating. We were there for 2 nights, yet there were only 2 coffee pods left for us.

Clean and comfortable with good appliances in the kitchen. Easy check in. Good for a few nights.

As mentioned by other reviewers, when there's chatter outside you hear it unfortunately. I can sleep through anything but I recommend light sleepers bring earbuds. It doesn't seem that it happens every night though - my second night the street was nice and peaceful.

Very helpful responsive host. Provided great information about carpark. Facilities in good condition and very close to old centre.

Close to city center and to a very good restaurant (Refeitro da Baixa), very kind owner pointed us to a close parking (5min walk)

Decadent buildings along the same street, Drug addicts consuming drugs in the nearby square and high on next doorstep, apartment door doesn’t provide any feeling of safety. Terrace faces to a partially demolished building/bathroom

The apartment is fantastic, it has everything you need even for a long stay. It is located in a great place, walking distance to all sights. The host is hospitable. A well deserved 10.

Very central, with all needed amenities. Host is very nice and responds fast The apartment and overall experience was great! Definitely recommend!

We were there on graduation night and the student party in the street would have kept us up all night , but the host refunded our money and we were able to walk 10 minutes to a quiet hotel.

Bathroom very small. toilet in cramped location. Shower very small. Mattress uncomfortable. no instructions on how to use washing machine ( though I find this is common in Europe). Cheap furniture with missing screws made chairs awkward to sit in

Great location, very cute studio apt., Nicely appointed & outdoor courtyard was a nice private space.

The AC didn't work maybe it was the batteries but had to turn off at the electrical board.
