Sunset Flat Santa Catarina

It was a quiet, peaceful place where you could relax. I'm a light sleeper, so this was definitely my main consideration. I was told by friends that Porto is a loud, noisy place, so my goal was to manage that by reading customer reviews before my booking. I wasn't disappointed at all. Had absolutely amazing sleep in their comfy bedroom where you can't hear any outdoor noise. The occasional sounds from the hallway when new guests take the stairs are forgivable and didn't bother me at all. It's the same as being in your own house, and you can hear sounds from the stairs from another room, so I don't know why some customer reviews would use that against the property. Slept like a baby in this place! I love how clean and tidy the property is. They obviously have thought of everything that you would need. For those who love good lighting, adorable views of a small garden, and Instagrammable ambience, without breaking the bank, this flat is perfect. Love the interior design, modern lighting, and shabby chic plants that add a dramatic charm to the 2 Juliet balconies. You can enjoy your morning coffee whilst reading a book by the windows and getting lots of sun and fresh air. All within the comfort of your own room. There is also an option to close the window doors, and the place is completely pitch black if you hate the sun. Again, you can control the mood in this property. I don't recommend the location to people who aren't fit and healthy as it's slightly a climb up the road. But hey! This is Porto everywhere is either a climb up or walk down situation. So, if you're not into that, Porto isn't for you. To be fair, there is a bus stop just right outside the property, so don't worry about the commute. The metro is also close by. About 10 mins walk.

Just the towels. Too thin and too small. Would also be great if they said goodbye or thank you when you leave the property for a more personable and hospitable touch. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The apartment was lovely, very modern had all facilities needed. Location was great as it was close to centre, supermarket and local food market.

The mattress on the double bed was too firm for our liking , but this is down to personal preference.

Environment, location and the apartment itself

The apartment was cosy and fairly quiet with a nice decoration. The location was also interesting, in the sense that it was in between the charm of a quaint neighborhood and close enough to the hustle and bustle of the main shopping street.

The cleaning could be daily, but we did not ask for this. Some toiletries could be more affluent in the appartment.

Good and quiet location, close to metro and relatively to city center

Wooden floor on stairs so you can hear every step. For us personally pillow’s wasn’t very comfortable

Great location and it has everything you need I wish the building offers laundry services.
