Freda House

That's was one off the best apartment, that I've been ever! First — localization. There're close to the beach and shopping moll with grocery market. Second — underground parking. On Madeira it's important to have a parking place, because off lots of cars and not enough parkings. Third — there were everything. Cookware, dishes, iron, vacuum cleaner, TV, hairdryer, washing machine etc. And for sure — balcony, where we had breakfasts and diners every day :)

Well equipped apartment,in a quiet location. Easy access to local busses for travel to Funchal

Nothing of note

Very good location, close to the ocean, some nice restaurants and supermarket. The bus stops to Funchal and airport are very close. The hosts are very nice and supportive. We arrived late and were warmly welcomed by Paulo. The apartment is very good, with nice balcony and view. The bed is comfortable and there is everything you might need for longer stay. The hosts provided parking space in the garage, but we easily found parking space on the street as well.

Everything was perfect.

The location of the apartment is perfect, very short walk to a main shopping centre but also to the promenade and the beach. We didn't spend much time in the area as we had a car but the host provided free parking - we could choose from the hotel garage or on street parking. The check in was smooth: the host met us outside the property at our preferred time, she handed the keys and explained everything, gave us recommendations and was always available when needed. The apartment was decorated to perfection and had all the amenities you could ask for - I wasn't expecting the modern decoration and comfort of the house. The coffee machine in the kitchen was a nice touch and although we didn't use the kitchen much it had everything needed to cook for a longer stay. The balcony was a great place to relax in the mornings and watch the sunrise.

The bathroom could be better maintained, as there is no ventilation the steam from having a bath or shower does stay in there and becomes quite humid.
