Amazing view and comfortable apartment

The view was exceptional

- Shabby, dated look that was far below the standard the price suggested it would be. - Scuff marks on the walls, stained furniture and rickety plumbing in the bathroom made the place feel unclean. - barest minimum of guest toiletries and only 2 towels per guest, one smallish bath towel and a hand towel, both so thin that they seemed more like kitchen towels. (There weren't any of those at all.) I inquired about getting a couple more towels and was told that this is all they provide for their guests, but that they would bring me another set of towels for an additional 30€. - Shower created a flood in the bathroom. No mop was to be found so we sacrificed one of our bath towels to clean up the mess. My husband and I shared the one remaining bath towel for the rest of our stay. - Management apologized for the inconvenience but provided no assistance.

Early check out is terrible!

beautiful view, great location (Graça is much more of a local vibe and it only took about 10-15 mins to walk tourist areas). the location is not too far from Blue train line, and the property was very comfortable, quiet and easy to check In. Parking was easy - there is paid 4 hour parking on the street (about 4 euro) which may be free on the weekends (can’t remember), and a garage about a 10 min walk away which costs 10 euro a day.

Bad host. Did not enough toilet paper or rubbish bags were provided. For a 5 night stay, one roll was provided and a small trash bag. When we asked the property about supply more they said it was only provided as a sample. After much back and forth, they agreed to refund the cost of these, which is ridiculous (and then promptly ignored this) and annoys me on principle, just provide the appropriate amenities for a stay, it’s not that hard. Because of bad communications/interactions with the host I would not recommend this property.

We liked these: 1. The terrace is as good as the pictures, and we loved having breakfast and taking breaks there. 2. The location is decent. It’s a bit of a walk to the good restaurants or “touristy destinations”, but this also meant we had some peace. 3. The laundry was also convenient.

These weren’t good: 1. The shower is too small to take a good shower in, and the floor easily gets flooded with water (but there there are no extra towels to clean the floor with, and you need to pay 30 euro to request additional towels). 2. The towels we did have weren’t clean. I took pictures. 3. The check-in is kind of a scavenger hunt. our FOB didn’t work for the right building at first, but it did work in the adjacent building. It was messy to figure out and we probably would’ve been stuck outside for another hour if the janitor didn’t help. 4. The host will also spam you with automated messages throughout your stay (2 duplicates of each message, so you get each message 3x). 5. Not a huge issue but: We had asked for the sofa to be set up as a bed before we arrive, and it wasn’t.

comfortable and cosy flat, warmly decorated, camin and terrace with wiew. Enjoyed the camin this time in winter. Rich kitchen utensils, oven and microwave.
