Nomad's Downtown Lisbon - Rua da Padaria

The location maybe even when it’s on the top of a hill and slippery during rain and not safe for our kids stroller

1. The elevator does not reach the apartment door, and you have to walk up a set of stairs. Since we have a stroller for two babies, it was extremely difficult to get in and out. We were constantly worried about the kids falling out of the stroller while trying to carry everything up and down the stairs. 2. The washing machine did not work, and we contacted the landlord multiple times because our babies’ blankets were stuck inside. Unfortunately, no help was offered. We had to troubleshoot it ourselves and eventually discovered that the bottom filter was completely blocked with trash and coins. Cleaning it was a disaster, especially since the washer was still full of water. 3. The apartment is located on top of a hill, and the sidewalk is broken and unsafe. For a family with young children, it was extremely difficult—almost impossible—to walk in and out safely. We genuinely felt at risk of slipping, especially in the rain, or being hit by a car due to the narrow, damaged walkway. 4. The price was very high for the value provided. We paid €1,300 for 5 nights, which we believe was overpriced considering the apartment’s condition, amenities, and location.

Great location with many restaurants nearby. Spacious for the whole family. The apartment is well equipped and made a great home away from home.

Proximity to Lisbon restaurants and shopping was awesome. Bedrooms were good size and beds were comfortable. Everything was clean as well.

A few items didn't work properly. The hallway bathroom dragging on the floor was difficult to use. Washing machine didn't work. Safe was unavailable.

Location. That it had 3 bedrooms and a washing machine. It had basic condiments in the kitchen and appropriate amounts of washing machine soap, toilet paper and towels.

It was advertised as 3 bathrooms rather than 2.5. We thought we were getting 3 showers. Only one bathroom was connected to a bedroom. Only one outlet worked in the middle bedroom. They used a single flat sheet in the bed verses a fitted sheet to keep it in the bed. Dining room chairs were very dirty and unstable. They need to be replaced.

The only thing I liked was the location.

We had booked for five nights. Two days before our arrival to Lisbon, management told us that the apartment is not available and they will upgrade us to another flat. That upgraded flat was awful. Bad smell and water on the floor. There may have been mold in the apartment. This is near a train station (Sodre?). We thought we will be now staying at this awful place. Nooo. After one night, we were told to move to the flat that we had originally booked. So first we agreed that we will move at our schedule but the night before we were told to leave between 11 and 1 and we had planned our day. This essentially ruined one day of our stay at Lisbon. Is Booking.com going to do something about it? The second place was better but we feel the management was not truthful about the whole fiasco. Do not deal with Nomads. These guys are crooks. Do not stay at Nomad's near train station Sodre (?). Very disappointed. The location you see in the photo is not where we stayed for two nights.

A large apartment in a really excellent location with many very good restaurants within 200m and excellent public transport nearby. The apartment was nicely decorated and was, in the main, well equipped. We enjoyed our stay enormously despite the flaws in the apartment and the agent was attentive.

Some of the lights did not work, one of the toilets needed attention and there were only 3 wine glasses for 6 people (but the agent said he would get all these fixed). The owners must be very tall because you have to stand on a chair to reach the hangers in the cupboards. Some kitchen equipment is on very high shelves. One of the double beds is against a wall and another is difficult to manoeuvre around. Younger people would probably have no problems with such things but difficult for older people. The bath towels are small and thin and one of the ‘3 bathrooms’ mentioned in the blurb is actually just a toilet and basin.
