Bertina was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Beautiful, pristine accommodation, amazing location, everything on the doorstep. Friendly people everywhere, great shopping and no need for a car. This accommodation is the best I have stayed in for years. We will be returning. Having to leave

Loved everything about this place - beautifully presented, spacious & fabulous location. Bertina was lovely and so helpful & allowed us a late check out. Beautiful furnishings & linen & the bathrooms had added extras. Loved the balcony at the front and the little terrace at the back. Perfect for our group of 3 friends would certainly return

Nothing all fabulous

Beautifully clean and well equipped apartment in a great central location.

The two storey apartment was clean, modern and comfortable. Importantly the location in the old town was ideal to get to the marina or other interesting areas. The cafe on the corner was great - we had our breakfasts there. We were able to watch netflix with our subscription from home. Well equipped though we didn't cook. The host was friendly and informative - we only saw her at the beginning and the end.

The balcony was usable but not much view.

Great location, lovely house and facilities were excellent. Host provided very useful advice on local attractions and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Centrally located townhouse in a charming part of Faro next door to the walled historic centre. Nice, typical design on two floors with a small walled terrace on the ground floor, a balcony off the master bedroom and, two welcome bathrooms. Very good and tasteful renovation and a very new feel, with good equipment, crockery etc. The owner takes great pains to have the place spotless for guests and to give a good welcome tour plus tourist tips. We would have no problem coming back here and enjoying the terrace with warmer weather. (In late February, it didn't seem to get much sunshine, but maybe from late March you could hope to feel the sun on your skin for a short while at least. The balcony gets plenty of direct sunshine, although maybe much less around December because of a building on the opposite side of the street.)

The second bedroom has just a skylight, which is OK, but we couldn't open it for air flow; we didn't want to turn on the air conditioning. The owner explained it was too risky to allow guests to open it because of forgetfulness and rain. But this did not affect our teenagers too much. We might suggest in this case an automatic Velux that closes if it rains. The small bathroom is welcome although the shower is a tight fit and it's also difficult to keep the floor and shower mat dry. The ground floor is somewhat dark but this is because it's a typical historical design; it should be lighter from spring to autumn.
