Akisol Albufeira Corolin

The apartment is in a fantastic location, having visited Olhos de Agua on many occasions, we were fully aware of where the apartment was situated, and this was our main reason for making the booking Communication with Akisol from the time of booking until our departure was faultless Upon arrival there was a problem with accessing the apartment due to the door lock not working properly, Ricardo ensured that this issue was solved promptly and was very helpful, he advised that should there be any further problems that he could be contacted at any time, thankfully this was not necessary

The apartment cost us £950 for a 9 night stay. Whilst I understand that prices have increased, I find this an extortionate amount of money for what is provided I was aware that there was no air conditioning installed, but was shocked and disgusted to discover that not even 1 fan had been provided, people were in the accommodation having paid less than half of what we had and had fans in every room, I think this needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency, if not, prices need to be dropped to reflect this The apartment appeared clean on the surface, but the sofa was filthy between the cushions, it is also incredibly uncomfortable, the pictures are deceiving, and we spent any time in the apartment sitting on the bed Although a 'flat screen' tv is advertised, this would perhaps be more suited to a small child's bedroom The shower has no washer between the hose and the shower head, using it resulted in me having to mop the bathroom floor every time The kitchen cupboard door came off in my hand on its 1st opening, thankfully it fell away from the glass cooker top I could list numerous faults, but feel this would be pointless, unfortunately we are now living in a climate that allows people to charge whatever they want for very little, it is a lesson learnt on my part and one I will not repeat, sadly I would not recommend this particular apartment to anyone
