Clean, decent, comfortable apartment, right in the heart of Funchal. Excellent location and very easy self check in instructions from the host. They supplied some basic kitchen supplies and coffee too which is useful if you don’t want to always be eating out. Do note that the apartment has no air conditioning. It was not a problem in May, though I imagine it’s a bit more annoying in peak summer. There is laundry in the unit which is a wash machine only and tumble only, no dryer. They are generous to provide detergent pods.

I did not meet the host at all, and interactions over online booking were all fine. Though I will say they certainly don’t try to go the extra mile to be accommodating. For example, I was arriving early and leaving late. Of course early check in and late check out are not a given. But generally if an apartment is vacant, in almost all cases it’s not a problem. Here the apartment was vacant, but they only send their cleaning crew at 16:00 to clean it. Also on check out, I asked if I can leave at 13:00 or 14:00. They don’t send their cleaning crew that early anyway. But no response or approval on that either. You can store your bags there, but it doesn’t seem customer service is a priority and I paid very good money for my stay here. The shower in apartment 3 does not have a shower head holder so you do have to turn off and back on the water if you want to grab shampoo or soap, to put down the loose shower head.

Er ging een vervelende geur in de badkamer die niet wegging. Erg late check in (1630, werd 17.00) Geen warm water in douche op ochtend van check out.

Die Lage war super. Mit Balkon, man hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt

Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht, uns war aber nicht wirklich klar wie und wo, da nur Appartements im Haus sind. Erst bei Nachfrage kam raus, dass das Frühstück per Lieferdienst geliefert wird, dadurch war man zeitlich etwas abhängig. Hat aber trotzdem gut geklappt

Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Wir haben die mangelnde Sauberkeit des Geschirrs und den Gestank nach Abfluss rückgemeldet, was zu einer zweiten Reinigung geführt hat, wobei aber nur die Handtücher ausgetauscht wurden und gekehrt wurde. Die Wohnung an sich war sauber.

Geweldige lokatie en alles was goed verzorgd. Keuken heeft alles, ook goede pannen, je kunt ook goed zelf koken. Grote supermarkt om de hoek. Apartement is zeer ruim en n mooi groot balkon met diverse zitjes. Er is n wasmachine, met wasmiddel, kan handig zijn. Olie, azijn, zout, peper is aanwezig. De parkeerplaats was goed geregeld, aanrader ook want parkeren in de stad is niet te doen. Ontbijt in the box was heerlijk.

Kleine dingen, bed is erg stevig en in de badkamer hing even n muffe lucht, maar dat zal denk ik wel te verhelpen zijn. De douchecabine is wat krap. Verder niets dan lof.
