The privacy and security of the apartment. The wonderfully warm and friendly welcome by the hosts. Lots of good information from the hosts about tourism in Porto and Gaia. Very good value for money.

The door stop at the base of the toilet and the squeeze to close the door when in the bathroom. Just a little narrow.

Good location, clean small apartment and great secure parking on site. The area feels safe and there are lots of great restaurants, bakeries, cafes and a few supermarkets close by. Good air-conditioning, nice little kitchen. Bathroom a bit small but expected. The owner is so nice, helpful and full of lots of suggestions. Really lovely.

To make this a perfect 10. A more comfortable sofa to sit on in the lounge area would be great, an ironing board would have been super useful and a clothes drying rack. The washer / dryer took about 2 1/2 hrs per load to try and get clothes dry.

Pedro was a wonderful host full of good information. He met us twice at the agreed to times. We felt very safe in the apartment, since the building is in a court yard behind a locked gate. It is close to Trindade Metro station. I would not recommend a walk up the hill to the apartment, but get an Uber ride which is really inexpensive (approx. 3 Euros,). We walked it with luggage and it is just exhausting.

If, I have one complaint, it is the size of the bathroom. The shower is big enough and plenty of hot water, however, when closing the bathroom door the space between the sink and the shower wall is very narrow.

Excellent contact with host. We got all needed info about touristic places, restaurants, communication and ... additionally, guides and maps. Really clean flat. It's placed behind "great wall" :) so quiet, despite the traffic outside. Old town and one of the main metro station just 5 min walk. All needed equipment in bathroom and kitchen available.

Two small remarks. Apartment a bit dark. It would be nice to have opportunity to make a coffee at place.

Location and parking was terrific. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

Even though it had a washing machine it ruined our clothes. We are familiar with this type of washing/ drying machine as we owned one. We ran it through a clean cycle to help but it left black on our white load and white all over our dark load. This is after we wiped it down inside after each load. We didn’t even use the dryer part. Also it needs to have a broom or something. we stayed 4 nights and after the beach ect there was sand on the floor but we just had to walk in it as we had nothing to get it all off the floor.
