Casa do Sol

The flat is just wonderful, for 2 it was perfect. The owner even came to meet us and he assisted us to garage the hired vehicle. The flat is spotlessly clean. The owner also prepared quite a few items related to food and drink, bread, milk , a couple of beers, croissants, oranges , apples etc. and a bottle of Duoro wine was the cherry on the cake. Much appreciated. The flat is located a couple of streets away from the centre, and this was most convenient. There are restaurants galore and a supermarket a mere 150m away

Everything was perfect

Casa do Dol is a superb apartment very close to the Ribeira and Gaia areas. Although close to the city centre it is extremely quiet. The apartment itself is delightful and has everything you could wish for. Fernando met us when we arrived and was very helpful with recommendations for both restaurants and things to see and do.

Przemiły gospodarz, bezpiecznie, powitalny poczęstunek był naprawdę miłym zaskoczeniem. Wyposażenie apartamentu kompleksowe. Bezpieczne pozostawienie auta w hali stażowej to duże udogodnienie. 5 minut do katedry, mostu.

Good location, and very quiet. The facilities are excellent. And the host, Fernando, concerned about all the details.

Nothing

The apartment was really well situated in the heart of the old city. It was beautiful, clean, tidy and well-equipped. It even had nice views. Fernando was very kind and hospitable and it was very easy to be in contact with him. He had bought us some food and drink to start our vacation with. Next time we travel to Porto we'd like to live in this lovely and well-situated apartment again.

Everything was fine. Nothing negative to say.

The apartment was very nice. We enjoyed having drinks on the balcony. The location was close to the main sights but also nice and quiet. Fernando provided very helpful information, snacks, and even drinks, which we very much appreciated. He is a very thoughtful host with good taste in wine!

Very clean and comfortable. Heating/airconditioning unit in both living area and bedroom. Fernando was an excellent host. Left us coffee, juice, fresh fruit and even a bottle of wine. He showed us highlights of the area and where to find them.

There was nothing negative to say about the property, everything was wonderful.

Spectacular view across the Douro and easy walking to many of the main attractions. And all this in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood, with secure onsite parking a bonus. The extra friendly Fernando met us at the property and provided a list of things to do, restaurants etc and a welcome pack of food to get us through the first day or two.

Not a dislike, more a warning. The carpark entry is on a different street to the apartment’s front door.

Well located, quiet and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by Fernando. The apartment had everything we needed, including a welcome basket with croissants and buns. The fridge had milk and tea/coffee provided if you couldn’t get supplies straight away.

The small television but we believe it being upgraded 😃
