Un apartamento pequeño pero con todo lo necesario

The place was tiny but clean & tidy.. had extra towels & pillows plus a few items for cooking such as oil & spices. It was the perfect spot in the historic area of Lisbon..although taxi to & from had difficulty approaching the street. Really good hosts provide helpful informationn about their appliances & sometimes a local map.. not here.

We were under the impression (mistaken ), that we would be met there but no... the key code for the lock box was wrong, and it took a friendly shopkeeper to get a phone call through to our host to be given the correct one (all rather trying after a long flight & waiting at 39 degrees)

En la reserva se incluía el taxi del aeropuerto al apartamento, pero no tuvimos información al respecto y nos tocó pagar el transporte.

La ubicación. La limpieza. El recibimiento con cápsulas de café y otros elementos de la cocina de utilidad para un viajero.

Not much. The proximity to the main tourist area was good, but the unit itself is in a questionable neighbourhood and was very disappointing.

Unfortunately, this review platform only allows 4 pictures. We have more that support the comments below. We are experienced travellers and would rate this unit at 1 or 2 Stars, with the following compromises… - Bathroom is the size of a small closet, only 30” wide, wall to wall. Entry is only 5’-8” high and 16” wide. Door is a plastic (torn) accordion door. - Sleeping was uncomfortable and often led to numerous insect bites by morning. The bedding was worn and pilly, and the mattress was cheap and just off the floor. - Black Mold is widespread in the bedroom along the baseboards, as well as in the shower. - Location is in a transient neighborhood with garbage cans and discarded furniture in front of the unit’s entry door. Lots of loitering at night and vagrants sleeping and defecating in that space. During our stay, a break-in attempt in the neighbouring unit, just 20’ away from our door (see pics).

Sorry to write this but it was the worst stay of my life. No respect for the customer from the owners. Very dirty flat, small dirty bathroom, damaged furniture, old and dirty equipment in the kitchen, scaffolding work outside, constant noise from early morning.
