Mouzinho 129 - Medronheiro & Oliveira

This is a beautiful little apartment, in a perfect location, with excellent management. It is immaculately clean, stylish, has a very comfortable bed with nice linens, and it is well-stocked with the appliances noted in their description. (For Americans who may be used to heavily stocked rentals, note that in Portugal, you will have a small amount of perhaps tea and coffee and toilet paper, but you might otherwise buy what you need from a nearby grocery) The apartment is near Sao Bento station, so it's easy to get to and from via metro, train, or bus. It's walking distance to so many sites, restaurants, and entertainment. If you have questions about where to eat or how to find your way, Joana and Maria are very responsive. It's a true 10-- just a delightful spot for exploring Porto. I couldn't have been happier staying there.

One of my favorite stays. Excellent location and easy to find. Really close to everything and the private outdoor space was nice. Laundry access!

The location is great. It’s walking distance to lots of tourist spots. The apartment is perfect for a couple and the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. There was a lot of helpful information provided to us about places to visit and the location of places to eat and food markets.

We discovered when we were leaving for an early morning flight that someone living in the building had locked the door thus locking us into the building. Because there isn’t a lock box system we were asked to leave our key in the apartment. This is a serious safety issue as we could not get out of the building. This would be unsafe in an emergency and needs to be sorted out by the people running this apartment. I did send a message about this but I did not a response. There was also renovation work next door which we didn’t know about and it’s got pretty noisy at times. The people living upstairs are also very noisy with lots of loud banging until late at night.

The apartment was exactly like in the photos. Spotlessly clean and well equipped (the only thing that was missing from the kitchen was wine bottle opener). Central but yet quiet location in the old town of Porto, on a busy street, but the apartment was towards the back sp it was very quiet. Lots of cafes, restaurants and take away places nearby, and short walking distance to the river and to other places of interest The staff was super friendly.

The construction site next doors wasn't a nice surprise, they started working at 8am and the noise lasted until 5pm. For longer stays it'd be good to have basic cleaning equipment in the apartment (hoover or floor brush at least), as the cleaning lady doesn't visit after the check-in.

Beautiful property, right in the centre and easy walking distance to all the sights and attractions. Staff were very accommodating, our flight got in early. Met us at 10am to drop off bags and because the room was ready they let us check in. Would highly recommend.
