Localização excelente, nomeadamente se pretenderem ficar alojados no centro de Amarante.

Communication with the host was easy, and the response was quick. The location was great - near a supermarket and the bus station, and some good local restaurants. The room was big, quiet and clean. There was a bottle of wine, which was a lovely gesture.

Uneven and steep steps to the front door - not a problem for us, but might be for some people. The floor in the apartment was slippery - same applies.

I had a great time during my stay in Amarante, the location of this apartment could not be better. There are stairs right next to the apartment so you can get to the main car bridge in and out of this side of Amarante, and you can also immediately start walking towards the beautiful cobblestone bridge that leads to the Church, you can go in any direction to find great restaurants. There are multiple grocery stores of varying size within a 5-minute walk. It lived up to the pictures and descriptions which are often misleading on Booking .com. I was not disappointed. Also the hosts are amazing and took care of me when I once locked my keys in the apartment and when I left some things during check out. Thanks Dante!

My only real complaint was the size of the sink. At first, I had trouble washing dishes without water splashing all over the place. But once I got used to that, the place was comfy, cute, and spacious.

Amazing hosts, they will help you with anything you need and are always available. They go to great lengths to delight and cater to you. Room is exactly what you would expect from the listing.

The shower pressure is great but if you are not careful you may run out of warm water - not sure if it is shared with other units and only had this issue once.

This spot is GREAT for real travelers: - Great location - a 5' walking leads you to every wonder of Amarante; - Great welcoming - Dante Carlos, the owner, is a reliable, calm and very friendly host; - Great accomodation - everything you need on a cosy 'wooden mood', ready to rest after your sparkling walks: the narrow alley beyond the 1st line buildings surrounding the central square, protects you from the City noise, allowing to quietely spread on the big sofa or on the very comfortable couple bed. - Great sleep experience - quality cotton sheets, appropriate pillows and a firm matress topped by a thing & smooth layer, will provide you a restfull night. - Great value for money - try a stay on a ancient rehab family house; its 70cm-thick granite walls will tell you old tales.

In fact, nothing. REMARK: The convenience of an improvement in the windows blackout: for those who need absolute darkness, this may be a point to review, mainly on Summer time.
