My View Over Lisbon

This was not the right location for us. We were there over a weekend and the streets are filled with bars, even though we were on the fifth floor you heard the noise until late in the night. While the shower had multiple heads only the handheld worked. The end of the hair dryer had been melted so it didn't feel safe to use. Also I do not know the building codes in Lisbon but this was a 5 storey walk up with fire extinguishers in each of the landings, did not see any emergency exits.

Room was clean and is comfortable for one person, bed was comfortable. Quite a few stairs to walk up to the top but wide stairs so not difficult to climb up. Terrace was also very lovely. Good communication with the owner. Noise level outside is not bad at night. Bathroom could do with a shelf for toiletries next to the sink, the plastic boarding of the shower cubicle moves when you're turning the water on and off but hot water comes out well even though the pressure occasionally drops when other residents in the building use water

The flat is overpriced and shoddy. The shower works only partially. Sometimes the water stops running because of the pressure. The bed occupies most of the space of the flat. Basically you have to put your luggage on the kitchen counter because the flat is so small. I bumped into the bed so many times. The rooftop terrace is accessible only via another set of stairs. There is no elevator of course.

Very central location for Bairro Alto. The rooftop terrace is your own for private use and have the best view I have ever seen in Lisbon. Aircon was working perfectly and just outside reach of all the noise from Bairro Alto. Easy access on arrival with door code and keys in a key locker for the apartment. For my stay it was perfect.

The stairs might be an issue for some people. Personally it did not bother me at all.

5 flights of stairs with heavy suitcases is too much for 80 year olds.

We appreciated the location; it's incredibly central, with all the main attractions nearby, as well as convenient access to the metro and train stations. The apartment itself was cozy and equipped with all the essentials and more, including features like automatic blinds and a bidet. The private terrace was a particular highlight for us, but unfortunately, due to the rainy weather, we were unable to enjoy it as much as we had hoped. The host, Nataliya, was attentive and made sure things went smoothly for us.

Only a small detail: we happened to get completely soaked by the rain one day, so one thing that would have been useful is some sort of facility to hang and dry our clothes.

Super cute place in the middle of a neighborhood full of bars and restaurants and nearby in walking distance to the city centre. The private rooftop was nice.

The only pity was the stairs all the way up, there is no elevator. But it is what it is, if you’re there for a couple of days it goes more easy. It’s noisy because of the location but it didn’t bother us.
