Great location, price, and comfort. The apartment was like renting from a friend- very welcoming and felt right at home :).

I believe this wasn’t the usual way this is done for this accommodation- but in a single message we were provided the exact location of the apartment on google maps, as well as being instructed to collect the keys from a keybox. Unfortunately, the keybox was on the wall of a *different* property, a 2-mile round trip by foot, and we only found out about this other location after calling booking.com customer service. Thankfully, the weather was a bit cooler in October so the trip to collect the key wasn’t as bad as it may have been in Summer, and even more thanks to the friendly neighbours upstairs who recognised the location in the photo of the keybox! A slightly shaky start but by no means dampened the holiday, we still had a lovely time and would recommend / stay again. But please, if you are unable to greet the guests on arrival and they are to collect the keys from a box, let the guests know the address of the box too, not just the address of the apartment!

The property was clean and well kept. Milton was great and showed us how to work everything in the apartment. We loved the choice of four pools. The apartment was also close to restaurants, shops and the beach.

The location was perfect for getting to the sea front and also to the train station. It was perfect for a family of three. Very clean and comfortable.

Excellent location. Balcony was good. Kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. It was very clean including the stairways. We felt that it was very safe and secure for our belongings. The swimming pool area was very clean and well maintained.

No instructions on arrival as to which flat we were going to (no name or number)especially since it was dark when we arrived. Stairwell light goes off after 30 seconds which didn't help. We're not young so that proved to be a problem when returning in the evenings. We had to replace the shower head immediately as the water was coming out sideways and going everywhere except in the bath. Also the toilet seat was loose. We struggled to find the swimming pool as there were no directions.

Lovely apartment with one of the best equipped kitchens for this type of accommodation. Location was walkable to everything in Cabanas and 5 min to Tavaira. Some great restaurants in town, take the advice in their guidebook. Rental agency staff was super nice, greeted us to get us settled in.
