By the Sea Apartment with Large Private Terrace

Great apartment, everything you require and the garden terrace is a real bonus. Even charcoal on the bbq. Bikes were available but we didn’t use them. The apartment is clean and easy to find, the hosts were very helpful.

Although construction is going on close by it didn’t really bother us and they seemed to be noise considerate.

The flat is nice, I really enjoyed design and how it planned. Also great located.

But there is construction site just next to in and it’s noisy whole day long, I wasn’t able to work even in noise cancellation headphones. Also there was finder prints on a glassy surfaces. So I took few points off.

there is a working site right next to the apartment, many workers with heavy equipment making loud noise from 8am

The location - just 5-minute walk and you’re on the beach + all the cafes, shops are nearby The apartment can be easily found and the instructions on self check in are pretty clear

- while I was checking in, there was a delay with cleaning service, so it was very uncomfortable that when I arrived after 3 p.m (as it’s said in the rules) the cleaning lady was still there and 2 men were repairing the balcony door. Eventually, I had to hang around for half an hour while all of them are finishing their work and only then check in… - the furniture is old, fusty and worn. It was unpleasant to sit on the sofa and touch the cushions. There is even the smell of something mouldy inside - the bathroom looks rough and unpleasant and hot water runs out pretty fast. I was alone, so it was enough for me but if you travel with someone, that might be problematic - ants 🐜 I didn’t open the balcony doors because it was pretty cold on those days, but they still managed to get into apartment 😭

The apartment has the perfect location, close to cafes and restaurants of all kinds and a quick walk to the beach! The place was perfectly appointed and comfortable, would stay again for sure! Bonus was the washer and dryer combo!

- Location is perfect. 5 min from the ocean, from metro, from bus, from groceries, from craft beer shop, from coffee shop - BBQ on the patio - comfy bed - veggie cafe next door

- would be great to offer beach towels of some sort - rental bikes are a bit dated and not super comfy

the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. the terrace is a plus.

Perfect apartment for a week in Matosinhos (Porto). The location is perfect as you have everything you need within 200 meters; from restaurants, to cafes, to supermarkets and of course, the beach. The apartment quality is very high. Not massive, but functional. Bed is not great, but you get used to it. The shower is great (very important for me) and the white goods are all good quality and brands. There is everything you need. It has an outdoor space. Very private, but this means no view. I think places with sea view are more expensive though.

Bed and pillows could be better.
