Casa L&M - Refúgio com Horta Biológica Certificada

Location is excellent for exploring the island. Luis has a great garden and he gave us some of his beans and greens to use when we were cooking. He is of course very knowledgeable about Flores as he is a native. Parking is easy, on the street across from his house. There is a small market about five minutes walk from the house.

Louis is a very courteous and friendly host, he arranged our early arrival with key box access and met us personally after he came back from work and came to say goodbye when we were leaving. He is a very knowledgeable gardener and he showed us his huge and beautiful gardens with so many different types of vegetables, herbs and orchid that we have never seen and heard of. He even cut some herbal vegetables and fruits from his gardens for us to take away. The apartment is big, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We had our separate access to the apartment which provided total privacy and parking is super convenient which was available right outside the door on the street. At night the place was totally quiet. We also enjoyed walking around in the town and beyond.

Casa L&M was one of the best apartment stays we have had (and we have done 100’s). Great communication and assistance from the owner, good location (walk places easily) and clean and large! We felt very comfortable and at home. The owner gave us good information and was always ready to assist us (even helped with taxi). They have a lovely veggie garden next door - and they were kind enough to let us take some veggies. We will def return and will seek to stay here again! Love Flores and loved the apartment. Thanks

Big house on the best island of the Azores. Great host who can give you lots of information on the island The house is big, better for a familly. Big kitchen. Loved having a bathtub.

I didn't have a car so getting around was a bit difficult. Not many buses so I had to take a cab or book tours.
