"Best location of Funchal! Fully equipt apartment. Friendly host."

Very central location in the old center of Funchal (everything within walking distance) with a wonderfull view over the harbor and the ocean. Clean apartment, good (hard) beds. During the evening, sit on the balcony with a drink and watch the ships return. Very friendly host. The minor issues we had were fixed rightaway.

We had a compact rental car (C3). It would have been difficult to park if we had a bigger ca. Tip if you rent a car on Madeira and stay here; get a compact car!

"Great owner! Very nice and greeted us on arrival. Apartment has a great view but a little basic."

Great location. Very clean but basic.

No air conditioning but a fan was provided on request. It’s nice to have air moving. With windows open, street traffic is too noisy.
