Nomad's Formosa - Apartments Porto

Very clean apartment, freshly renovated. Well equipped with appliances (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge) and kitchen equipment. Well-functioning, quiet air conditioning. There is also a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Contact with the staff was very good, there was no need to wait for the staff because the keys could be taken out of the safe after entering the code provided earlier. In one word, a successful stay, we are very pleased.

Location near the metro Bolhão (6 min by walk). Big apartment. Good internet, we were able to work from home (video calls etc). Air conditioning. Reactive team via messages. Calm area.

Big apartment but the living room is quite dark. Small couch. The instructions to get in the apartment were not clear for us. We didn’t like the fact that they asked for our credit card details for our deposit. They proposed an online payment link afterwards which is better.

Apartment was really spacious and comfy, fully equipped, clean and location was good. 5 min walk from Rua da Sta Catarina with all the shops and the market.

No AC or Fan, which is more than necessary in Porto during summer mostly because the apartment was on the direct sunlight. We tried to open the windows but it was too noisy.

(The service and lack of attention to detail for paying quests.disorganised and stuff broken etc ) The first line on here was my initial review after our stay i didnt get into much detail about all the issues we had but i will now! the reason im editing my review is because after i posted it i got a very SHOCKING msg from nomad city apartments,please read the msg carefully if you intend staying with this company. the msg is in photo section as a screenshot. Now some detail as to why i gave a poor rating. got wrong info from hosts for metro from airport to address had to get a taxi, after metro to pick up keys-there was no one at the office when we arrived-over an hour later they showed up we got keys and also agreed on a late checkout for sunday which i offered to pay for she said no need as no other booking- we went to apartment,no instructions re tv remotes,girl sorted- had closer look around to find we had no towels or extra pillows - msgd girl again got sorted she sent cleaner with same - then went to have a coffee to find the 2 cups in press were both badly chipped and one had no handle (see pic) also opened foodstuffs in presses- msgd girl again,got sorted - then when i went to have a shower the actual pole that holds shower head was swinging on wall! we temp fixed with toothpicks found in press(see pic) msgd girl again! time see was going to send handy man clashed with a dinner reserve we had re getting ready,we were only there for 4 nites im not saying they didnt try rectify issues I SHOULDNT HAVE HAD THEM IN FIRST PLACE -checks should be done before each guest arrives....then to top it all i get a phone call at 9.50am sunday morning tellin us we had to vacate at 11am after we had arranged a late checkout,the girl was having none of it very bad attitude,,eventually agreeing we could stay till 3..we were furious as any plans we had for that day were ruined.the whole experience marred a very short trip
