Good location, near to the airport. Easy checkin and checkout. Great for the night before or after your flight.

The apartment was good for one night.

It's a little bit far from the airport, they say 20 minutes by foot, but it's more than 35 minutes.

The barking dog, although cute, was very annoying

First class fully appointed one bed-room ground floor apartment close to the Ponta Delgada Airport. with private car parking space. Everything you need, was included in the room, even the light in the bathroom went on and off automatically!

Location near the aitport is a bit secluded out of town for bars, restaurants etc, The only near by restaurant (18 minute walk) was called Saca-Rolhas (corkscrew) Taberna and avoid it like the plague. It was the mort prentious, expensive restaurant I have eaten in. Get in a taxi, and go to GIRO in town, fantastic.

The host is really responsive, and let us to check-in a bit earlier. The flat is well equipped for the short stay (kitchen, washing machine, etc.) and everyhing looked clean. Self check-in process was really smooth was well.

We initially planned to stay in the appartment due to its proximity to the airport and our early morning departure. Althouth the airport is close, the walking distance is about 2.3 km on a really narrow pedestrian sidewalk with the luggage - which forces you to book taxi regadless. We wouldn't stay in the appartment knowing this upfront, but we should'be checked this before.

The apartment has so much room for either one or two people and it was spotless, with a great kitchen space too. I only spent one night there but I would recommend it for a much longer stay. It's pretty close to the airport, at a 30-minute walking distance if you don't have transport, and you can carry your own luggage there as the road leading to it has a sidewalk, you can check it on Google Maps. Good communication by the owner also.
