Para dos adultos mayores - como en nuestro caso - tener que subir una escalera sin pasamanos era dificultoso.

Great location, clean and comfortable apartment. Our host Marta communicated with us making check-in very easy

Great location. Very interesting area.

Access was via many stairs which made it very difficult if travelling with a suitcase. Also very difficult to organise a taxi for pickup and drop off.

The location is quite good, with access to good restaurants and convenient shops within a three-minute walk. The bed was very comfortable. The space was efficient and clean. The area was generally quiet.

There are some minor issues: there is a stone arch over the head of the bed which was slowly disintegration, dropping small grains of sand onto the bed; the shower valve has a small leak that does not affect the shower's performance much; the clamp that holds the shower hand sprayer in place was broken, but tying a rubber band around the water pipe overcame that issue; sometimes the toilet flush valve leaks inside that tank and the water valve repeatedly opens to fill the tank for a few seconds - this can be dealt with by flushing the toilet again and having the valve re-seat itself - the valve needs replacement. The unit's trash can lids do not easily open when the foot plate is stepped on - new cans can fix that issue. A word of caution - the washer / dryer can take three hours, or more, to finish the cycle, then the close are wrinkled but dry. We later learned to turn off the washer after the final rinse and use the drying rack and hangers to hang dry the clothes to avoid the wrinkling. We had to iron some thinks.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Baxia , it was quiet at night , there is a couple of local restaurants within 3 mins walk ,but there was no noise from them in the evening We had apartment 5 , it had every thing we needed , a bonus being the dishwasher . It had a sitting area with large comfortable sofa , great for relaxing after a busy day . The bed was comfortable , great shower We had 2 maps sent to us giving clear directions how to find the apartment as it tucked away . Martha contacted us and we arranged a meeting time ,she was very helpful with ideas of good view points and places to visit . I would definitely stay here again

So spacious and it had everything you needed. The living room, bathroom and bedroom are upstairs. The kitchen and dinning is downstairs. A washer dryer combo, a dishwasher, fridge, TV, wifi. Roomy bathroom. There were two small heaters that warmed up the place. It was so nice to meet someone there to show us around and ask questions (about the property and the city). Great communication leading up to the stay and about getting there.

Being extra picky-just the smell from the toilet. But there is a window that helps air out the apartment.

The apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was close to many Lisbon attractions but in a quiet and convenient location just minutes away from the bustling activity of the city. Our host met us at the property to give us a walk through and ensure we were set - which was much appreciated.

There was almost nothing we didn't like about the apartment except maybe better directions on how to find it. Our nav led us to the square, but the apartment was tucked below it down a small set of stairs and to the left in a little courtyard.

Breakfast was not included.

There was a washer/dryer combo that was so nice to have. However, unfortunately, the gal who met us to show us the place did not know how to use it. So, it was used by trial and error and my husband ended up washing the clothes twice because it was difficult to understand how to convert it to the dryer. It would be very helpful to have written instructions since we did not speak Portuguese and there were no written instructions just confusing sumbols.
