The location is excellent, and there were plenty of towels provided. The addition of dishwasher soaps was a nice touch. The availability of underground parking with a lift was a significant advantage. Ultimately, the price was perfect. This is one of the best apartments you can find in Madeira for this price.

Communicating with the workers, who were responsible for handing over the keys, was quite challenging. Initially, they couldn’t comprehend the term ‘booking’. Subsequently, they mentioned a random name. I believe they should know the client’s name and understand the term ‘booking’ to expedite processes like key handover. Be prepared to converse in Portuguese or have your phrases translated into Portuguese; otherwise, you might find yourself at a loss.

The apartment looks simply amazing. It's modern and beautiful. It was very clean. The location is perfect, it's located to walking distance to the center. The host was very responsive. The kitchen has all the basic things you need for a short stay. There was a free parking.

The person who gave us the keys ways was quite unfriendly. There was no soap and shampoo. The free parking was a huge advantage, but it was extremely difficult to park in the garage, due to the columns.

It would be very helpful if there was a note on which coffee capsules fit in the machine - not even all capsules from the company of the appliance brands fit.

Rooms and location

No Oven

First of all, there was scaffolding on one side of the building and workers started noisy work at 8 am plus no way to open the window or use a balcony on that shady side. No air conditioning is then a big problem. There are two bathrooms but one was out of order on the arrival i.e. Saturday just closed with NO explanation and it was fixed on Monday. In the bathrom, there is a shower but the fixed handle on the wall is broken so when you shower you have to use one hand to hold the shower handle which is a nuissance. But the biggest problem was the arrogant host who refused to issue the invoice with the name of the institution and dates and the ONLY information we could find there was the name of the institution and when you travel on business they will not accept it which means no money back!!!. Because he was refusing to correct the only option was not to check out on time, but everything was packed and cleaned, and then he threatened us with the police. Thank God they arrived and within 10 minutes he was contacted by the police and SURPRISE it was possible to correct as we wanted. Of course a lot of stress and unnecessary waiting and a waste of time. NEVER again !!!!!!

Very nice apartment with all the materials needed to cook your own food if you wish. Short, enjoyable walk to the old town, lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Easy access to the highway and parking included. I highly recommend staying here.
