Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber Thierry war sehr gut. Wir wurden herzlich im und mit vielen Tipps empfangen. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in Alfama, ruhig, hat eine Klimaanlage und ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Gemeinschaftsterrasse war direkt von unserer Wohnung zugänglich und hatte gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Die Abende konnten wir entspannt mit Blick aufs Castello de S.Jorge ausklingen lassen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Location was excellent

Air conditioning did not cover the whole apartment and we were told not to use the one on the lounge( where one of us were sleeping on the sofa bed). Had to keep the windows shut because of the noise from the festival which we expected but didn’t expect the air con wasn’t up to the job. Also the manager will not assist us in getting an ear bud(tiny) back to the uk and has refused to post it to a friends mother in Lisbon he says it has to be collected. Obviously we offered to pay for this but he now won’t answer our messages. One morning we had no hot water but the problem was rectified by the time we got back.

Locatie was perfect. Heerlijk om op je terras te kunnen zitten na een lange dag er op uit te zijn geweest. Hele aardige gastheer.

Ëén slaapkamer was een beetje gehorig qua bovenburen.

It was close to the main square for buses and trains, as well the the funicular which was only a few doors down. Lots of restaurants and small markets within a short walk. The host. Thierry was very nice and helpful. I appreciated all the detailed information he gave us. I also really liked having a rooftop terrace to sit and enjoy, offering both tables or lounges.

The beds weren't great but manageable. The bathroom shower was a handheld and if you turned it on all the way, it would fly off the hook and spin around, soaking everything. Another larger frying pan would be great. The area is either uphill or downhill so be prepared for that.

Location was good, a short walk downhill for buses, metro, trains and supermarket. Central to local sightseeing. Our host Thierry was excellent having our bags carried up and down the steep access stairs to the apartment. Also giving directions to transport, attractions and supermarkets.

Uphill walk from buses, metro, supermarket. Two flights of steep stairs to reach apartment. No elevator.
