A localização é ótima, a 100m do metro Marques. O ar condicionado funciona muito bem e o banheiro é muito bom, acima da média dos demais apartamentos que já me hospedei no Porto.

Eu já conhecia o imóvel e estava tudo dentro da expectativa. Falta uma máquina para lavar roupas, pois para estadias maiores, faz diferença. E um aspirador de pó, pois como tem tapete e somos alérgicos, poderíamos mantê-lo limpo.

THE LOCATION!!! It was our home for 3 weeks. We got extra towels. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you might need during a longer stay. There is a metro station near the house, few grocery stores and PingoDoce nearby. The contact with the host was easy and nice. Would 100% come back

There is a high humidity however the AC helps to fight with that. It would be better to have two duvets on king size bed but that’s just my preference :)

Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Great location.

Amazing location!!! Only a 2 minute walk from the most gorgeous square with a band stand and a library and a fountain and lots of very cheap cafes. The neighbourhood is much less touristy and much cheaper than central Porto. The underground station takes you right into the city centre. There is also a bus stop right outside the front door. The flat is beautiful and gets lovely light. The shower is incredible - lots of space, really hot and powerful. The induction hob works very well. Stylish glasses to use to have a drink in the evening - and even some candles for us to use. Bed was really comfortable - better than at home. Very safe and secure front door and nice neighbours, a man with a dog said hi to us on the stairs and introduced us to his dog. So much space for the money!! We didn't feel cramped at all. We asked for a baby high chair and cot and got both. When we arrived the cot was set up with a beautiful blanket and a little teddy!!

One of the cords on the blinds was broken, and so was the lamp above the table. They'd probably have fixed these for us but we didn't ask. The sliding doors were a bit scary with our toddler as he kept almost running into them - but that's totally our fault for not thinking of that when we booked. Our toddler was sick on our bedsheets and in his cot and we asked for more and although staff brought more for us, they didn't fit our bed as they were only for a double bed. They didn't have any more pillow cases or bedsheets for the cot. The WiFi went off when there was a storm and we couldn't work out how to make it come back. Again, not their fault!!

Location and overall comfortable

It is quite small, ok for 2 adults and 1-2 children. Although not dirty, it was not all that clean, particularly the glass doors that separate the bedroom from living room were in need of a good cleaning. Very impersonal, premade emails explaining the check-in and check-out process. The email for check-out was sent after our first night (we stayed 3 nights) saying they hoped we enjoyed our stay…

We loved the location - a bit off the beaten track, the noise and the crowds. It's about 30 min walk to the river, but you can also take the metro (2 min away) or Uber (which sometimes was a cheaper and more convenient option for 2 people!). The apartment is tastefully furnished, with a good sized kitchen and bathroom. Albeit located in the first floor in a small street it wasn't noisy (good windows and little traffic at night). Very easy to get to from the airport by metro (you need to change the trains only once at Trindade and take the yellow line towards Hospital Sao Joao - get out at Marques). If you choose to get there that way you need to buy 2 titulos (tickets) per person. That's the huge confusion when buying tickets at the machine if you need to take 2 lines! There are 2 small shops just across the street (fruit&veg and a small grocery store) and a few cafes and bars around. You'll find more choice of restaurants in the city centre though. Ask for a drink menu first, as some of the places really rip tourist off charging crazy prices e.g. for beer. In general it's hard to eat in the afternoon, as all restaurants open at 7-7.30 pm, so be quick or book in advance. Otherwise you might be walking around hungry for quite a while ;). If you feel like having something else than the traditional Portuguese dishes (not that many to choose from....) try the food hall Mercado Bom Sucesso (the easiest way to go there is taking an Uber). It's a cool place for lunch and/or dinner.

We asked if we could leave our suitcases earlier than the indicated check-in (as we arrived around noon in Porto), which seemed to be a problem and we actually never heard back from the owner/manager if it was possible or not (the communication jammed then). We ended up waiting in a cafe nearby until 30 min before check-in and were able to get in then. Apart from that we were pestered with countless emails (probably automatic) requiring a supposed obligatory check-in (passport etc.) before arrival, which was very annoying. We stayed at other places in Portugal where we did that at the very end of our stay and it seemed to still have met the regulations....
