Apartment in Bairro Alto 1 - Lisbon Charm

Really good location except for the street noise. Cool safe neighbourhood with lots to explore. Quiet neighbors in the building and friendly people in shops nearby.

Not enough bed linen provided and quality could be improved. AC and a washing machine would have been nice.

Buena ubicación. Limpio y completo. Muy atento nos dejó agua, café, té, azúcar, galletas y papas. También 1 vino que no tomamos y dejamos. Si bien no lo conocimos x q la entrada es con códigos, (mantuvimos contacto x WhatsApp),se puede apreciar su buen trato.

Die Wohnung war für 4 Personen okay, die Ausziehcouch füllt halt den Wohnraum komplett aus. Aber für einen Städtetrip ist das voll okay, man verbringt ja keine Zeit am Zimmer. Allerdings wenn wir dann abends/nachts ins Bett gefallen sind, oder wollten, war es leider nicht möglich zu schlafen. Man ist mitten im Partyzentrum von Bairro Alto. Die Fenster zu schließen macht es zwar leiser, aber auch heißer.... Also entweder mitfeiern oder bis 2 Uhr warten, da sperren die Bars zu.

The location is excellent, on a bustling central street with lots of food and shopping options. The larger bed is very comfortable. The shower works very well. The window onlooking the street is very picturesque. We really appreciated that the hosts left food and a bottle of wine for us.

This place is simply too small for four adults. Further, there is no air conditioning (which I do understand is on us for not double checking prior to booking), but in such a cramped space the heat was genuinely intolerable. We are Australian, so we are used to being hot, but it got to the point where we could not sleep. I understand air conditioning is less common in Europe, but on 35 degree days with four people in that space, you absolutely need more than 2 fans. Finally, a very minor complaint is that we were supplied with insufficient toilet paper for 4 people for 4 nights. The host did kindly offer to drop some off but we just ended up buying some because it was easier. I would recommend perhaps including more for larger bookings.

Great location in Barrio Alto especially if you want to eat, drink and be merry, Portuguese style

Parties outside you window went until 4am when the rubbish collection started 🤣

Dobra lokacija. Jedan od retkih apartmana sa aparatom za kafu i kafom što je nama ujutro bilo izuzetno važno.

Nema klimu, samo ventilatore u svakoj prostoriji.

Location is very central and close to all the main attractions. We walked everywhere. The apartment was clean; the host Jose communicated very well, and was helpful.

It does get VERY noisy downstairs from Tue night (Sun & Mon nights were more or less quiet), but we were able to sleep through it with earplugs. Also, please note there is no AC in the apartment and it does get warm inside; was not a big issue for us but the travelers should keep that in mind in summer months.
