VDS Guesthouse Cosy Apartment in City Center

Claudia was very friendly, she gave us all relevant information for a pleasant and safe stay in Lisbon. Apartment was very clean and had all that we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious—perfect for our family of four. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the city center and close to all the main attractions. The neighborhood felt very safe and lively, and we really enjoyed strolling around and exploring the local shops and cafés. Claudia was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. She was always quick to reply to any questions and even left us a lovely welcome gift, which was such a nice touch. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We were very happy with our stay and really enjoyed the apartment overall. It was clean, well-located, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The space worked well for us, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. That said, there were a few minor things to note: A couple of the bedsheets had some small stains. It wasn’t a major issue, but a bit more attention to cleanliness would have made the experience even better. The living room has sloped ceilings, which made it a bit awkward to move around or sit comfortably under certain spots. As others have mentioned, the stairs are quite steep. It wasn’t a problem for us, but something to keep in mind if you're carrying heavy luggage or have mobility concerns. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the apartment—it’s a lovely place with a lot going for it, just with a few things to be aware of.

Claudie was an incredible host. We could reach her reach her anytime we needed, and she was helpful with everything. The apartment was right in the city center. Thank you wine and cookies- such a lovely gesture!

We loved the layout of the apartment-two rooms and one bathroom with a small kitchen and a living room with a balcony--just like in the pictures. It was quiet and very well located jus off the Avenida de Libertades. It was comfortable for our family of 4. Claudia, our host, had left us a bottle of very tasty wine for our arrival and it was a nice detail! There were also family games available. She had coffee and sugar in the apartment as well as a well equipped kitchen. She was very communicative! The beds were comfy, the apartment clean. We felt right at home.

Mind the stairs! They are a little more steep and narrow than in the states and there is no lift. This was not a problem for us, but it is something to consider if you have knee issues.

The stairs to access the property were very steep and lacked a rail at the bottom set, 1 of our group did struggle with them. At times the keyless entry was challenging and worried us if we needed to get out quickly.
