The Love Tram Apartment

The host communicated very clearly and sent lots of photos of how to check in so it was very easy for us when we arrived. The apartment is as advertised, cozy, and simple and you can't really beat the location - ten minutes from Cais do Sodre station where you can travel almost anywhere you want to by train, metro, tram or bus. Tons of great restaurants and bars in the area and very close to lots of tourist destinations like Pink Street, the time-out market, and other great parks and areas. Air conditioning and access to a washing machine was awesome for us backpackers!

The staircase/ladder to the loft is quite challenging to climb so I would not recommend this place to an older traveller or anyone with not a lot of upper body strength or fear of heights! The stairs to arrive to our apartment were also a challenge but we knew to expect that. We found the couch/cushions in the main area to be a bit dirty looking and could benefit from some couch covers or some extra linen to prevent them from getting too dirty. Lastly, I would have liked to have been supplied with a more appropriate amount of toilet paper for our 4 night stay with two people as we were only given two rolls.

Fantastic apartment with excellent facilities. Very convenient location in immediate proximity to the ideal downtown. Very kind and helpful host.
