Reasonable location near town centre. Owner responds to queries. The cleaner does a good job, despite the very old fixtures and fittings.

New kitchen badly required. New bathroom needed. Tiny old tv, not internet connected. Furniture and fittings need replacing.

Location and very large apartment

The bath room very old with terrible fitting and shower . No change of towels .no spare toilet paper Kitchen in a terrible condition that smells really bad with very old units and a washing machine that barely works. Units filled with stuff you would no use and only 1tea spoon. . All non matching and disgusting dirty mugs. No spare waist bin bags.

Everything good, I would stay here again!!!

Excellent beds, very clean, good location and very kind host.

For the winter months we suggest some rugs for the cold floor. The gas oven needs to be fixed as flame did not stay on which could be dangerous.

I stayed at Rate T2 ideal para descansar e com Espanha ao lado between 16 - 25 Oct 2023. I arrived at the apartment quite early in the morning and asked a host, Herlander, whether it was possible to have an early check-in. He kindly arranged a nice cleaning lady to have the apartment spotlessly cleaned and ready for me at 1100 hours. I stayed there with a friend who arrived late on that day. There is one comfy bedroom where I let my friend sleep. I slept in a sofa (not a sofa bed) which could made to be a bed for me in the night. The apartment is spacious with a big kitchen where I loved the most. A gas stove with a gas oven. A laundry machine was old, but fortunately my mom had almost the similar model. Therefore, I learned how to use it in no time. There are two balconies, one is attached to the living room which you can view a neighborhood street. The other is attached to the kitchen and the master bedroom. The latter balcony you can hang your laundry which is normal for people in Portugal and Italy do. I love this hanging laundry culture out of the windows or balconies because you will see it everywhere when you walk on the street. The apartment is close to almost everything, restaurants, Guadiana River, the Ferry Pier to Spain, supermarkets, shopping/walking street and the Train Station. I visited Vila Real de Santo Antonio during Falls, so it was sunshine, wet and cool. I think Summer must be busier lovable, people could comfortably swim in the Guadiana River or the Atlantic Ocean. Herlander was so nice and accommodating host. My friend and I required another set of the apartment keys because we had to go separately sometimes, and he kindly asked a cleaning lady to provide us the keys. If you are a self cooking lover, this is the place. Feel like home. I highly recommend it :).
