The University of Minho-Campus Gualtar Apartment 2

The property was great and had a lot of space. It was well cleaned and it had a really nice balcony.

I liked everything! The only complaint I have to do is that the kitchen light wasn’t working. But it was not a problem because I didn’t need to cook.

Lovely apartment, very clean and also great distance to everywhere in Braga and the host were super friendly and helpful. Thank you Ana.

Apartment perfectly located if you need to go to Universidade do Minho. Kitchen well equipped, a big bedroom, living room and WC. Bed sheets, towels and hair dryer available. You can arrive whenever you want as it is self check-in. Nevertheless, if you have any problems, the hostess answers all your questions by message really quickly. I requested an invoice and received it promptly. I will book it again if I need to come back.

Be aware that you will be in an apartment and there is no shower gel and shampoo available. Also, the TV remote control was not working and there was expired food in the kitchen cupboards.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and stylishly decorated with quality furnishings. Ana has a unique sense of style and everything was tastefully done. Communication was excellent. I particularly chose the apartment as all the rooms have doors. So you can close the kitchen, the lounge and the bedroom as well as the bathroom. They all converge on an entrance hall which functions as another small room. The couch opens up as an additional bed. We also liked the beautiful strip flooring which doesn't creak unlike the plastic wood laminate flooring in newer buildings. There are also lots of sitting areas in the apartment, which was a win for us. A stone table which seats five in the lounge . A little white fold down table with 2 chairs in the kitchen. And a small black metal outdoor table which could seat three. The balcony runs the length of the place and each room opened put onto it which gave a feeling of freedom and space.

The apartment is very near the university, so the noise levels were high for us: festivals, drunk students, barking dogs. However, this is normal for Portugal. The windows do have external slat blinds which shut out most of the light and some of the noise. There is a gas heater for the water which takes some getting used to if you, like us, are used to an electric water heater.

Nice space. Very comfortable. Large balcony. Washer & drying rack (plenty of balcony space for drying). Elevator -- note there are 6 steps up to the elevator level.

We knew it was a drive into town so not a negative. Not many places to eat nearby...that we could find.
