Funchal Apartment

Excellent location. Large apartment and very clean.

It was all good.

A very clean apartment, the description and the photos are not in any way misleading. There is a nice fresh smell everywhere in the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped, with microwave, toaster, coffee machine, cutlery, dishes, etc. Conveniently situated near the market, beach, shops, teleferico, everything we needed was within walking distance. The host was really prompt in answering our questions, very professional in all communication instances, she provided clear instructions regarding everything prior to our arrival, as well as on departure. We truly appreciated that the host took time to leave flowers and fruit for us.

Although this could not be attributed to the host, we had the misfortune of staying here while there was construction work in the building across the street. The noise would have made it impossible to rest during the day. The street itself, although not a main street, is very noisy starting at 7 a.m. The bedroom facing the street is not very comfortable form this point of view, as the door and window joinery particularly in this room is wooden, not soundproof. There is one more bedroom away from the street, which is more quiet. Fortunately, we had things to attend to, we were not here to rest, so, all in all, it was a pleasant experience.

The location was very central, close to everything

I could hear every movement from the apartment above and they were very noisy and active.

Very spacious apartment. There is everything you need for life, a very well equppied kitchen. We were quite hungry when we arrived, the fruits on the table was a nice suprise. Really liked the location. Everything, resturants, museums very close.

We had some dificulties with regulation of temperature of water in shower

The apartment is very good: two separate rooms, a bathroom and a living room larger than usual. The apartment is well equipped. We arrived late, but there were no problems with handing over the keys. Communication with Rosalia was very good . We were greeted by a basket full of fruit, tea, coffee, and chocolate bars. Excellent location: 3-5 minute walk to the promenade. Parking in front of the entrance and we mostly managed to find a place when returning from a trips. Although there were 5 of us adults, it was not crowded. I definitely recommend it.
