"This place looks good in photos but in reality it’s very different."

Good location and great view.

Very small beds for two people sharing. They are smaller than a double bed. The place is really in need of a deep clean and painting. There was a smell off the sofa, the throw and cushions which was disgusting. The furniture in the en suite is falling apart and the entire walls by the entrance need to be cleaned or painted. The towels are such poor quality and old.

"Very poor"

The location of the apartment was great. The balcony/terrace was really exceptional. The furniture and kitchen amenities provided in the apartment were good. However, all the positives did not cover up for what we did not like.

Services provided were just unacceptable. We had a delayed flight and reached the apartment late evening. We (family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids) tried calling the provided number multiple times but we kept receiving a forwarded message and no answers. Our driver and the neighboring shop keepers had to contact the building occupants to assist with the main door. The only communication the apartment services team accepted was on booking.com. Cleaning services was another dilemma we faced during our stay. It started by the services team giving us fewer towels than number of family members staying. We requested fresh towels but again no answer on the phone calls or WhatsApp and these were never delivered during our stay. We also expected the garbage to be picked up atleast once or twice within the 7 days we stayed at the apartment but again no service provided. Maybe for tourists, we would have appreciated the closest bin locations. When we finally got through to the customer service on phone after lots of tries and requested for a room cleaning service, they agreed to send the cleaning team on the 5th day of our stay. It was informed to us that we could get a free cleaning service if we had a stay booked for over 6 days, this was later refuted as something that is not provided. We then agreed to pay €40 for this service, but on the day, no service team was sent. The customer services team then promised that they would try and send someone the next day (our last day) of our stay which we politely refused. What intrigues me is that we were asked to connect only through messaging on booking.com and calls and chats on WhatsApp were not entertained. Why provide phone numbers then? This stay was way below any our expectations and will be remembered for all the wrong reasons unfortunately. We will be visiting Porto again for sure but will not be staying with same providers.
